Tasks will include (but are not limited to):

  • Monitor and track inventory of samples
  • Work alongside team for completion of order confirmations and all order maintenance
  • Market Preparation, book and confirm appointments for upcoming market weeks and shows
  • Maintaining the appearance of the showroom before, during, and after appointments.
  • To become acquainted with each brand and familiarize oneself with their look book and line sheet format
  • Unpack, steam, and merchandise each collection according delivery to ensure proper presentation.
  • Participate in showroom appointments and assist Sales Reps with order & note-taking according to delivery and designer.

The Executive shall participate in all major trade shows and markets throughout the West Coast. Promote products represented by the company in a way that will assist in increasing the company’s clients’ visibility in the market. Responsible for meeting and liaising with the company in order to fully understand each brand’s background and products. Monitor current trends in fashion and based on observations and knowledge of the market, propose strategic direction for promotion and advertising of the various fashion brands the company represents. Responsible for the collaboration and participation in the company’s in-house public relations events for clients. Create and contribute to comprehensive communications and public relations strategies and conduct market research in order to devise plans and overall business promotion strategies, specifically in the areas of public and media relations and web marketing. Conduct market and pricing analysis as well as industry analysis for competitive intelligence and sales forecasts, development of marketing communications, management of trade shows representation and promotions, and participating in the development of business and market plans focused in increasing brand visibility and promoting company brands to clients throughout the United States. Serve as primary liaison between the press and assigned clients, notifying accounts of any major press exposure and also report on best sellers and other popular items. Complete all applicable reporting for assigned brands including monthly plans, end of season reports and road recaps reporting to the success of individualized efforts for various brands at different trade shows. Maintain current promotional materials for each brand assigned. Distribute such materials to the appropriate media outlets and present them at events where the client is being featured such as markets, trade shows or the company showroom. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations or related discipline and 5 years of related experience in public relations or related fields including experience working with specialty wholesale accounts.
