This position oversees regional specialty account management and potentially majors for all premium brands at Place. Our brand matrix is expanding though currently includes Magali Pascal, Hansen & Gretel, Bec + Bridge, Acacia, S/W/F and Significant Other. This is a business development position with the primary function to generate sales and create new relationships both in-person at the showroom, pop-ups and road as well as virtual appointments.

The Account Executive must have established relationships with key, image, specialty retailers, major retailers are a plus. Candidate shall be responsible for maintaining the assigned collections, completing monthly plans and brand analysis, review selling reports and working with our showroom and merchandising teams.

Duties for this role include but are not limited to order processing, account management, and maintain style information (drops, extensions, cancellations, etc.).  Further, this role frequently partners with the Sales Team to ensure Place is consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Primary Duties

  • Support the Sales Team by consistently and effectively communicate order changes/updates to in a timely manner.
  • Analyzes customer concerns based on Company best practices and established procedures.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries in a professional, consistent manner.
  • Manager the lifecycle of orders in Showroom Exchange; problem solving and troubleshooting when possible.  Track the flow of product against order/ship dates; communicating any delays with relevant parties.
  • Complete regular audits of order processing to ensure accuracy.
  • Cooperate with all established and new corporate policies and procedures; participate in new hire and ongoing trainings.
